I enjoy serving this salad at buffets or picnics. It is flavorful, crunchy, and full of healthy ingredients. Everyone asks me for the recipe
Ingredients l large bunch broccoli, trimmed and stems discarded, with the florets cut into very small pieces (4 to 5 cups) l cup raisins 1/4 cup diced red onion 10 strips bacon, fried and crumbled l cup sunflower seed kernels] Wash and drain broccoli florets. Dry in paper towels. Place in large bowl, add remaining ingredients. Toss with dressing (dressing ingredients below). Chill 3-4 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend. Dressing 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar 1/2 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing or mayonnaise (I prefer Miracle Whip) l tablespoon vinegar Questions? Comments? Click here to contact me! |
